Included with the INERTIA bucket seat is a universal Mounting Bracket which lets you easily mount it to any GT Omega cockpit or rear frame. This includes seat sliders allowing you to adjust your seating position on the fly.

A: A bucket seat is a car seat which has been specially contoured to hold a single person. A simple yet elegant design which typically has a deep seating area with raised sides which partially enclose the body.

Q: What are the benefits of bucket seats for sim racing?

A: When it comes to sim racing, bucket seats strike a perfect balance between purpose and comfort. As well as offering a more immersive sim racing experience, the seats themselves are cushioned yet tight fitting allowing you to comfortably focus on your performance on the track.

Q: Will a bucket seat make me a better driver?

A: The short answer here is No. Simply using a bucket seat on your rig will not make you a better driver. But with that said, they can certainly enable you to develop your skills behind the wheel.

Perfect fit! Just for guides I'm 6"2 and 17st. Plenty of adjustment back and forth but I would imagine anyone heavier than me my struggle to get in and out the seat as the side's don't move and come quite high over the hip. Quality of the chair itself is top quality.

Really comfy, I’m probably at the big end for the seat (34-36 inch waist) but I can sit comfortably in there. I would suggest anyone with a larger waist may struggle. If you are under this though you will have no problems. The white seat looks really nice, fingers crossed it stays white after a few longer sessions in the rig!

Great seat, much better than the reclining R6 I had before. I'm wider than I'd like lol, 42 inch waist and I fit in, just. An extra wide option would be great, as would some thicker padding and preferably memory foam in the removable cushions would also be better to acount for the extra price over the Chase seat, which does have thicker padding. On the box for mine it stated to read the assembly instructions, however there were none in the box. Great addition to my Prime and I would recommend but I would like to see the improvements I've suggested.

Saw the seat review on a YouTube channel with an affiliate link and I desperately needed a new seat due to my old one being worn out. The Inertia seat comes with seat brackets and seat sliders and all the nuts and bolts required to install the seat. Would be great if instructions were included but it wasn't difficult to fit to my old rig. Highly recommended!!!

I have always been a bit dubious of bucket seats due to the lack of back adjustment but decided to take the plunge. Fitting the seat to the rig was easy just four bolts. The worst part was fitting the slider adjustment handle, I would recommend using cable ties to assist with this (saves a lot of swearing and pain). I only had 100mm ties so I liked enough together to slide over the handle just in front of the last hole at the open end then tighten enough to just be able to fit handle with minimum pressure. Once in place cut one cable tie to release. I’m 6 feet tall and 14 stone with 34 inch waste and fit snuggly and am held comfortably in the right places. Due to the seat being solid I have been able to brake more consistently which has the benefit of quicker lap times.

The inertia seat is my first experience with a bucket seat and despite what people say, this one is very comfortable. It is very snug on the hips and legs but for me this hasn’t been a problem, just added to the comfort & immersion. I’ve also been impressed with how easy it is to mount, its sturdiness and also the overall quality.

I ordered the Inertia jacket seat and it arrived today in less than a week. It took around 30 minutes to instal on my Prime Lite cockpit and feels great. Light and comfy but stiff to hold you snug like a bucket should. For anyone needing fitting advice, I’d recommend removing the sections of aluminium profile from the cockpit that the seat subframe attaches to and fitting them to the subframe/seat first, then bolt the whole lot onto the cockpit. Really pleased with so far.

I’ve been buying from GT Omega ever since I got my Prime rig back in September ‘23. Their quality is undeniable, so as soon as I saw the Inertia racing seat I had to have it. It arrived quickly - as always - and I had it set up within an hour. It adds so much immersion, it’s super comfortable and it, of course, looks the absolute business. I’ve had to knock a star off though, I wasn’t given any instructions, nor were there any available on the website and I ended up ever-so-slightly injuring my hand (but that could’ve also happened with directions!!)
